Vikram
fans have something in store in 'Velayudham', which is hitting the
screens this Deepavali day. For the trailer of 'Rajapattai' will be
screened during the intermission of the Vijay-starrer in theatres all
over Tamil Nadu, as per an arrangement between both the producers.
"Prasad V Potluri of PVP Cinema, who is producing
'Rajapattai', is well known to Aascar V Ravichandran, the producer of
'Velayudham'. Both have ensured that the trailers of Rajapattai are
screened during the interval session of Velayudham," sources say.
Directed by Suseenthiran, 'Rajapattai', a
commercial entertainer from Vikram after a long time, has Deeksha Seth
as heroine. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music (this is his first
for a Vikram-starrer) and attempts are on to release the audio soon.
"Shooting of Rajapattai is over and the film will be
released for Christmas weekend. Recently, the climax was shot at a
budget of Rs 3 crore. Producer Prasad is planning to market the film in
an aggressive way for this is his big ticket entry in Tamil Nadu," they
add.
Other films seeing a trailer release this Diwali are Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' and Vijay Antonty's 'Naan'.
